Things Hollywood Always Gets Wrong
Posted by: jpon on March 3, 2008
I am the Book Review Editor for the Los Angeles Review, a literary journal published by Red Hen Press in Southern California.
My short story The Sting of the Glove, has been accepted for publication by Apalachee Review, a literary journal based in Tallahassee, FL.
My novel, tentatively titled The Ballo Brothers, has been accepted for representation by Andrea Hurst Literary Management.
My flash fiction "Eyes With No Promise" was recently published in Vestal Review. Vestal is the longest-running flash fiction journal in existence, so I'm jazzed about that one.
My story "Friendship Bread" was in the November 2008 issue of Peeks&Valleys: a Southern Journal. "Symbiosis" was in Soundings Review. "Being Enormous" was printed in the inaugural issue of Tobybashi. "The Art of Waiting" appeared in the June issue of The Summerset Review, and the journal's annual print anthology. "Middle Aged Mutts" has been accepted for an anthology titled "Dogs: Wet and Dry." I also have book reviews in Raven Chronicles, Los Angeles Review and Fifth Wednesday Journal.
